imagine ur married to a man for about 10 to 15 years with a child or perhaps children... ur passion have died long ago but u r still able to maintain a good relationship with each other... ur husband is a very loving father, a somehwat caring husband, he's very hard working n brings home a stable income... but he's just not affectionate towards u anymore... now imagine ur a mistress in love with a married man... he's everything u've ever asked for only he cannot marry u... he comes to u almost every night... but he no matter how late he stays he never stays over coz he needs to get home to his children... he claims he has no affection towards his wife anymore but he'll never leave her coz they've been through too much and he can't abandon his kids... he takes great care of u... he fully supports u finacially n u know he's glad to do so for as long as he lives... he understands the relationship is unfair to u n he'll happy for u if u leave him when u find someone better... now... girls... who would u rather b?? guys r welcome to comment too... as long as u don't say "this will never happen"
Niceee question.. In my opinion most successful guys will have a mistress or more.. And most of them won't support their mistress financially for life.. Is just for a while and after that they will give excuses on not supporting anymore.. Guys must learn to responsible on what he had done.. So in conclusion guys have mistress will always get themself in to trouble.. Say NO to mistress.. lol..
i'd probably prefer being the wife. its osmething more stable.. soemthing i can always count on and i guess having the kid/s should be enough to keep me around.. whereas being a mistress, i dont think i'd be able to live with myself being such a person. its as though im attempting to break up a family and thats pretty horrible. no matter how much i liked the guy, i can't imagine myself being such a clingy b*tch on second thoughts.. why get married at all =D life would be so much simpler ^^

I rather be the mistress I'd rather be the mistress. The agony of having a husband who no longer loves me is too much. Being a mistress is more exciting. In this century, we women don't need a husband (if he doesn't like us). Why not just have a mister who gives us the romance, money and support? We don't have to have babies with, take care of, or go thru so many headaches w/ a mister.

I have to concede to Dawn's point that it can be miserable being a mistress if she loves the guy. If the love is one sided, however, we can be miserable either being a mistress or wife.
in the end it's probably best to b single haha... but in this case being a mistress is not so bad since u have to freedom to leave any time... but on the other hand even tho the wife isn't getting enough attention from her husband she still got the kids... aiya... i dunno -unsure

Maybe I'm still a bit childish, but I just can't understand how some women could fall for married man? I mean he has a wife already!!! AND children??! I've always dispised these types of women. I also don't think its worth it. It's kind of like you're his rebound, he only comes to you when he's bored or something. So I'd rather be the wife coz like Phy Phy said, at least you still have your children.
