The reason your bf treated you the way he did is because the game is over. The best part about a relationship for most guys, is the chase. After he has you, there is no challenge or mystery to you, so it's time to move on to the next target. Guys know exactly what to say to girls to get the girls to feel a certain way. The only thing you can do is to get to know the guy better...and from there, you can tell whether or not he has ulterior motives.
From a guys pt of view i think Fobee could be right, some guys just like the chase, or it could just be that as the relationship developed he realized he didnt like u as much as he thought..he got to know ya better and discovered this isnt the type of girl i want to be with~whatever the reason if you want to try and rescue the relationship u got to talk to him abt it othewise it looks like its over...

i never really understood why guys liked a chase. when the girl is willing to go out with a guy, most or some guys would turn away and completely ignore the girl and the girl (most of the time) will like someone else and THAT is when that guy starts to pursue the girl, but the girl no longer has interest in that guy. i don't see any logic in that. why pursue someone who has no interest in you and will just see you as annoying? i can understand why guys don't want a girl to jsut give herself to the guy because that will be seen as easy and she could do that to any other guy. in the end, it will be the guy's loss when the girl loses feelings for him because all he wanted was a "chase"
simple: the "chase" is fun and excited. it just like watching a strip show. guy dont like to watch a fully naked girl dancing with a pole, he would prefer a girl half naked (no topless) and dancing around the pole. it is sexy allthough it didnt reveal much of the flesh
theres also a "comfort zone" that you hit if you stay in a relationshi pfor along time. Most people always get over the stage where they are impressing each other... This is when you truely discover if you two are meant for each other.
