Hey there....Everywhere I go..I seem not to fit in with other girls...most girls like nailpolish, go shopping, cooking, ..watching boys...flirten...well, u get the idea... Now i am not sure if i weird or i have just bad luck....I like to play games,games like World of warcraft (just to chat with friends), God of war (cos full of action and very fun).Well, if u check my scores..I would say i am not a pro..(not as good as boys,i think they have gaming genes in them)..and i dont seem to get along with boys/girls...boys find it crazy that a girl play games...and girls...they dont understand why it is fun to game...i am like..Am i from planet alone??-unsure Any tips how to make some friends?? And sometimes I am really bored and want to do something else...But what??

Are you quite hardcore when it comes to games?? I know only males that are purely obsessed with them, so I do understand why you have trouble finding female friends who enjoy gaming a lot. Although there are exceptions! Hmm, Im not a great fan of nail polish as I have to wash hands often at work, not really a point. I do like cooking and shopping. As for games, Super Mario Land and Tetris are the only ones I can manage with. Haha... Lame! XD

If some are girly girls, I tone down my uh... 'guy jokes'. I would say clubs like Flames mentioned would be the best place to meet new friends. Especially ones with your same interests.

hiya, am the same as you i like to play games online etc. hardly any of my friends do that and when they asked me what have i been doing i said iv been playing some games online and they were like ' what'? they like to go shopping and stuff and i hardly do that with them. but everyone are different in life as long as your happy with what you are doing. if you feel you don't fit in am sure there's pletny of people wanna be mates with ya. don't push yourself too hard to be mates with these girls. they'll never understand. if you are bored go and join the club somewhere or hit the gym, walks etc. there's plenty to do! just smile
Don't worry, not all girls are made to be sugar and spice and everything nice; the rare breed of girl will grow up to be an FBI agent, one that kicks ass and takes names. That's about as "pro" as you can get. Hint: my sister in law is cute as a button, sassy, witty, and won't hesitate to double tap you right between the eyes with her Glock. >.<
How old are you? By the way you type i'm going to assume late elementary or high school. As you grow older you'll find people will often be more understanding and open, particularly once you get to University. In high school I think I would have found it really interesting to know a girl who was into the same games I was, and whom I could relate to, but I can also see how it might come off as intimidating. Its a little odd how the term, "gamer" often comes off as a little derogatory. It incorporates almost every demographic now, and there's no reason to be ashamed of being someone who likes videogames... You're definitely not alone as a girl gamer though, especially when it comes to WoW... lots of chicks play that game, case in point, Lights: imo, don't change who you are because its more convenient to fit in. Cherish the little things which make you different and you'll find that in the future you'll appreciate that you did.
Get good at the games and whoop some ass at local tourneys and you will have more friends with the same interest before you know it
I dunno your surrounding but my advice is to conform and try to fit in. Who said you can't be yourself while trying to fit in? Why live life the hard way by being different. Who know .. you might get to know more stuff/people by opening up rather than isolating/locking yourself away .. it's all part of growing up. The choice is your .. learn to social cuz you might be missing out if you keep this up.
