lot of chinese live in a foreign countries and they refuse their sons or daughter to get married with foreign people why they do that? they think foreign people are not good enough or they're just too traditional with this matter?
lol, i dunno, maybe its just communication , like they cant understand each other or somehting , or that they like their grandchildren to be fully chinese or something
well, my mom's excuse is communication. like, its difficult to speak to one another and like.. difficult to completely understand each other's cultures and traditions.
lol, actually, it could be better, since Foreign people are like different so theres stuff to learn, and communcation shouldnt be a bit hard, if they both knew english, or if the husband /wife learns chinese so they can communicate
yea ur rite, .... but thats how it is, "foreign ppl" has different culture, they eat different foods etc... i know this cuz my sister's bf is a white, and i cant really live with him together in the same house... everytime, when we eat together, my mum has to make sth, that he likes, cuz he doesnt eat fish or sth... but i think that it doesnt really matter what the parents say, cuz its not your parents, who spend their life with that person... they just give u advices (maybe in a bad way) but i think they just mean good =)
meh, its just racism, almost all my chinese relatives have mixed with white folk at this point... alot of wazns in my extended family
yeap those factors are important but havent u guys noticed that chinese people dont like foreign pp just because they are not chinese and they say that foreign pp are not loyal or faithful to their partner and always flirting with someone else... it's so annoying!!
Yeah Chinese always feel some kind of exclusivity about this, not only in the mainland, but also happend to chinese in another country.
yeh, i knw, lots of chinese families refuse to let their children marry 'foreigners'. Personally i dnt get it, if ur living in someone elses' country, they cnt be that bad. Maybe its communication problem, but alot of chinese parents are very racist i think
my rents always says that they rather see me with a chinese, but in the end its my decision, guess my parents are more open
i think it is more of the race thinking.like mixing up the different races are bad thing.people always think it is a bad thing for some weird reason.
yeah right!! chinese pp dont like mixing up with different races they are not that open mind like western pp. and some chinese pp think they're great at math and look down on another pp who are not that good!!

personally i prefer going out with chinese people, not to be racist but communication is one reason and the other reason is cuz i want my descendants to continue to be chinese... its not really a racist thing in my opinion, depends how you look at it and depends on personal preference i mean i have no problem with other chinese going out with foreign people, as much as i care, my children can go out with a foreign person, cuz i cant control them...more like a preference for me though =\
