Friends for 14 years, singers William So and Ronald Cheng will finally be taking the stage together to perform a series of songs in a 'Ronald Cheng X William So LIVE '09 concert' in October. In an interview held on Tuesday, William reminisced about his friendship with Ronald 14 years ago. He shared that they were both developing their careers in Taiwan in 1995 and often bumped into one another. Friendship blossomed between the pair and they started to contact one another frequently. Apart from performing their classic hits, the pair will also perform each other's songs - as a sign of their friendship. "We prepared a lot of fast songs at the last 10 minutes of the concert. These are songs that everyone will be familiar with, for example, songs from Alan Tam. As both Ronald and I mostly have soothing love ballads, it will be harder to get the crowd all hyped up. We hope to end the concert with everyone all excited!" When he was questioned if the duo will perform some slick and nifty dance moves, William laughingly replied, "We don't plan to spend too much effort on dancing. If you want to see some vigorous dancing, I will recommend you to watch the Grasshopper's concert instead!" So revealed that he is planning to release a Cantonese album at the end of this year, he also plans to produce a Chinese album next year and hold concerts at both Macau and Hong Kong. "I won't be filming any shows in this year and next year. I want to concentrate on making music. Count it as a return to the music scene!" According to a personnel from Unusual Productions, 70% of the tickets for 'Ronald Cheng X William So LIVE '09' concert have been sold. Due to overwhelming requests, the organizers have decided to increase the amount of seats available. Sources: Yahoo! News
