Minimum Requirements: Microsoft's new vista site lists the basic specs as a modern processor (at least 800 MHz), 512MB of system memory, and a Direct X 9-capable graphics processor. To be "Premium Ready" a PC needs a 1-GHz processor, 1GB of system memory, a GPU with 128MB of memory (plus a few other qualifications), a 40GB hard drive with 15GBs free, a DVD-ROM drive, audio output support, and Internet access. Now, for those wanting to check if their system can handle the vista upgrade, ms has a simple tool that dl, run, it checks your system and then tells you if you can do they upgrade. its been pushed back so many times i'm not really expecting much from ms...this thing will come in dif flavors too....so u just gota wait n rip it when it comes out...
its always good to have way more than the minimum requirements to get the full effect of this..personally..i have no intention of going to vista for a long time...i only got the first beta version from a collectors point of view...
