So a few weeks ago i got my wisdom teeth pulled
they were all impacted, so all four had to go out

lemme tell you, it hurt like a BITCH and it still bothers me, theres some bone left that i can feel and stuff

but lemme say one more thing, they sure gave me a generous amount of oxycontin :bigthumb:

I just let mine grow out - one cracked a molar next to it - but that molar had given plenty of good service already! I figured, it'd be better to rather get rid of the old molar & keep the "new" wisdom! ;)

mine are coming out too. so i get the pains once in a while. but since my teeth arnt perfect, it pushes its way out and the others make room for them. i should have it taken out before it completely messes up my teeth. cuts up the inside of my cheeks too

sorry i didnt reply to this that fast

heres how the procedure went on with me:

they dont actually put you to sleep, but they drug you up to the point that life is oblivious to you
they give you massive amounts of novacaine, and laughing gas

i dont remember much, just bits and pieces, but the doctors said i wouldnt shut up lol

and the novacaine, holy wow lol my whole face was numb for 15 hours

there's no pain when they do it just tell them if it hurts or not when they inject into ur gums to freeze the feeling before they pull it. They wiggle it around until it becomes loose.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out about a month ago and I didn't really feel much pain at all. I didn't have to take pain killers either. I got gased up and didn't feel a thing until the whole ordeal was over with.

i think mines have to come out soon too.. xrays showed them growing in the wrong way...
but imma wait till i get some insurance coverage first. its a BIG hit on ur wallet.
I heard that most people dont need to get them taken out... People make it seem like 99% of ppl have to get their wisdom teeth taken out when they can live fine with them grown in.
