With Shirley Yeung Becoming A Mother Soon, Gregory Lee Finally Puts Behind Old Flame

TVB artist, Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), allegedly will be expecting her first child any day now. Photographed 7 months pregnant in Los Angeles, USA earlier, Shirley made a surprise appearance on Weibo last month, but did not respond to any questions regarding the arrival of her new baby. With Shirley becoming a mother soon, ex-boyfriend, Gregory Lee (李泳豪) has finally put their 9-year love relationship and painful break up behind him as well.

Expecting in Los Angeles

In September 2011, Shirley Yeung took a quiet hiatus from her acting career, requesting several months off from TVB. Some fans speculated that she was shying from the limelight after a scandalous break up with ex-boyfriend, Gregory Lee. The mystery of her whereabouts remained unsolved, until Next Magazine published a photo of a 7-month pregnant Shirley in Los Angeles, USA. Accompanied by her mother and new beau, Andy Ng (吳帥), Shirley was living at her brother’s house while expecting their first child.

Shirley’s delivery date was estimated to be at the end of February or early March. On February 5th, Shirley made a surprise appearance on Weibo, posting photos of a sushi meal and writing, “This was truly delicious!” Shortly afterwards, Shirley wrote, “Happy Lantern Festival!”

Pleasantly surprised by Shirley’s Weibo message, fans asked whether she had returned to Hong Kong. Some netizens asked why she was eating raw food and wondered whether she had already given birth. However, Shirley did not respond to any of the questions. Shirley’s manager clarified that Shirley was still on vacation and has not returned to Hong Kong yet, while remaining tight lipped regarding the status of Shirley’s pregnancy.

With Shirley about to enter motherhood, Gregory Lee has finally been able to put behind their bittersweet romance. According to On.cc, Gregory’s twin brother, Augustine Lee (李泳漢), stated, “After Gregroy saw the report of the heavily pregnant Shirley, he finally came to a realization and woke up!” When it was pointed out that Gregory was formerly obsessed with Shirley and unable to let go of their painful breakup, Augustine clarified, “Gregory is just sincere in love!”
