Woman arrested after driving 7 km with pedestrian in windshield in fatal hit-and-run UTSUNOMIYA -- Police arrested a 23-year-old woman after she hit an elderly woman with her car and drove approximately seven kilometers to her home with the woman implanted in the windshield of her car. According to Tochigi police, Michiko Sato, a vocational school student, is suspected of hitting 80-year-old Shige Ami while driving on National Route 293 in the city of Utsunomiya around 4 a.m. on Sunday, leading to Ami's death. Sato is said to have told police: "I panicked and didn't know what to do." After driving home, Sato sought advice from a 24-year-old male acquaintance, who called police at around 5 a.m. When police arrived on the scene, they found Ami already dead with her head stuck in the broken windshield.
^ the thing in front of the bonnet?.. if a human got stuck there, there should be some sort of non smooth driving there
what's that 80 year old woman doing around there so early in the winter morning? WTF is the driver doing, driving 7km before seeming help...idiot.
NO excuse .. panics .. lol .. you can't think of dumber excuse. She should be locked up .. this is like murder .. it was a cold vicious act. Hitting her with a vehicle was understandable since accident happened .. but dragging her home on the windshield .. shit, that's beyond cruel. She obviously wanted her dead.
That is just ridiculous! How did she not like completely panic and run away from the car? >___> she definitely needs to get evaluated....
wat a crappy way to die...stuck in a windshield...-shock RIP old granny as for the driver...i hope they do justice!
