Im guessing the door opened but the lift didnt stop?

If she wasnt in a rush she could probably save her head

Well, I'm glad they blurred the image.

Despite the fact that just about every modern building has them, most people don't realize just how dangerous elevators can be. Lest anyone thinks that it's only a problem for China, this exact type of accident has happened in the US previously on multiple occasions. Link One, Link Two, Link Three. -shock

Moral of the story is, you can't trust elevators.

Insofar as the OP video, I thought that the other passengers were surprisingly calm. I would have expected everyone to have been recoiling in horror.

Is there not a capacity limit that no one follows?

Why did I clicked it, I'm traumatized by it too, even with it being blurred.

In recent news, in China. A lot of issues with elevators and escalators are popping up. Death and serious injuries. They are just not taking safety as a higher priority plus you have people who are just not following rules and doing their part.

Seen like a few clips of very young kids playing around on the escalators and have certain body parts get crushed and cut off.

News over there shows a lot of detailed video clips even if some are blurred.

Yup .. that's right .. NO one follows the rule in China .. NO SMOKING .. still do .. people don't give a damn. I bet you that the routine maintenance means probably some guys come out and sign off without much detailed checking.

The safest way is the old fashion one .. the stair. Exercise and safe. This is also good to remind everyone to wait a bit until the elevator doors open completely and nothing's moving before getting out. I have seen people jumped right out as soon as the door cracked open. What's the rush? The same goes with traffic light. You don't step on the gas once the light turns green .. gotta wait a bit ... who knows .. there might be a car that runs a red light.

  15. i've seen a few people blindly follow others crossing the traffic lights even though they were j walking
