Perhaps. But death is death.. not going to make much difference one way or the other. To me that is..

I thought that every rollercoaster ride is checked every day by crew. How can this accident ever happen???

^ Yeah, you should read the first chapter at the very least :p Talking about roller coaster...

I personally don't like Mitch Albom's writing style though, too lecturing/preaching for me @_@b

IMAO US rollercoaster rides are pretty safe, since the crew test the track every morning.

mav, hiake: haha.. I prefer Tuesdays with Morris.. but yea.. its a little lecturing.. like wise man trying to tell you how to lead your life.. but its a nice read though.

I don't know... I don't like book who have "I am very philosophical and inspirational" plastered on the first ten pages =_=b So I didn't like neither 5 people You'll meet in heaven nor Tuesdays with Morrie... but I must admit it's a good read.

I found his style a bit tiring somehow... Not very engaging @_@b Too loose I guess?

@XJ: Perhaps you should start a Book reading Thread, with book reviews :D
I failed when I started: What book are you currently reading .... :(

Isabella (the novel on which the Hong Kong film Isabella is based upon), and a bunch of non-fiction books looking into religions @_@b

Oh, and Metamorphesis... which is just plain weird...

I have no idea how long will it take me to finish them all, starting so many at once @_@b Still didn't get my hands on God the Failed Hypothesis :(

    Yay, 3k! Night :D

Well i guess driving is kinda different from takin a roller-coaster ride bcoz you can at least control a little of the former; being that you're the one doing the driving n you'll probably be more careful and if you're reckless you got no one to blame but urself (unless you get hit by someone and totally not ur fault) whereas takin a ride in a roller-coaster; you kinda surrender your fate to the machinery and the operators of the roller-coaster. If they messed up; you'll be helpless. Thus, u tend to expect at least a 99% safety level there... b4 u surrender to it...
Besides driving is sth quite inevitable in terms of living in a city these days as the most convenient mode of transport while roller coaster rides are more like a fun optional thing you can choose to do or not to do it...
