I was so looking forward to Thanksgiving this year since I didn't get to be with my own family for the last few months. My wife took our child back to Chicago to be with her parents so that I can adjust going back to school again without any disturbance. Anyway, my parents and siblings were all coming for the dinner. My wife and I cooked everything for the night .. it was such a happy time until ...sigh ... my sis opened her mouth (the one w/ the bf out of town that I ranted about way back). She shared with everyone that she won the lottery with 3.12 million dollars .. we were thrilled for her.. wow .. that's a lot of money .. then she did the most pathetic thing in the world .. she DONATED $3 million to the the temple .. the entire table was quiet and our jaws literally dropped .... WTF was she thinking? She actually proud that she got 2 coffee mugs, 2 boxes of Taiwanese Vegetarian instant noodle, and 10 AMC movie tickets for her donation. Seriously, I was totally speechless .. 3 million dollar .. it didn't stop there. After dinner, she asked my wife and not ME (her bro) to cosign for her bf's mortgage loan. Why? She wanna remain in the city and the housing here are expensive. Her bf has a house but doesn't wanna sell it due to the slum market now and he's not employ if he moves here so gotta get someone with collateral. In another words, she wants us to help him. HELLLO .. I was asking myself if she was possessed or hit with vodoo or something for her to even talk like this. She used her remaining winning to pay off her own and that guy's school loan instead of helping her young sis's tuition right now. I am not even working now but living off our saving and my wife is part-time only .. my sis has the audacity to ask us for help with such ridiculous thing. I dunno .. just ruined everything .. I was and am still pissed . I really don't know WTF she was thinking inside her head .. I have NEVER met a MORE stupider person than my sis .. sighhh.
and she didnt care to share any with the family's troubles before donating it? the general rule is like %10 charity and help out yo family but help yoself out first.
I would have just slapped her and kicked her out of my house if she had asked me about the mortgage issue and the fact that you never liked her bf anyways. Lottery wise, she was selfish. I can only think of one reason why she did what she did: So that people thinks she has a kindheart? Noo.. so that she can't share it to anybody else, its just a cover!
I can't help it, I'm suppose to avoid posting til next month, but...You need to talk to your sister, tell her to realise what she did and how greedy her current actions are. Far out....3 millions to a temple why do these retards still continue to exist

I would have laughed in her face when she told of what she did with the winnings, saying, "Yes, only YOU would have been so stupid to do that..." Then when she asked for the co - sign, I would have called everyone together and said, "Hey everyone, remember what I said about her being stupid? Look, she's now asking for me to co - sign because she can't get a loan after she just threw away three million dollars! Ha ha ha... Can you believe how stupid she is?" She is, in classic parlance, called the Fool. Obviously, she shouldn't be allowed to handle money. She does sound like an attention seeker, but if true, I would have her evaluated for lack of mental capacity, and seek to reverse the donation. There are plenty of fools with money in the world; sometimes it takes others to protect their money from their own stupidity and lack of judgment.
