  4. If this house had to go to any couple, an architect and interior designer would be the best couple to own this house, as stated in the article.

They plan to expand and renovate this house, which might turn out into a nice product. However if you asked me if I would buy this house as-is, maybe at $100k, and the other $300k into renovation.

Anyways, where in Toronto is this house located?

Obviously, the walkway space is also a part of the property; why wasn't that area used in the vertical house space too, is what I don't understand. I mean, it's one thing if one is forced by physical constraints to build a 16x16 foot floor plan, but to do so purposely when there is no real need, IMHO seems rather wasteful and foolish. In this case, the architect didn't use the lot to its fullest potential. On the other hand, architects like this would be awesome for places like the far east.

And for those who feel that, in terms of living space, less is more : http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/box-bungalows/

for me, it's not worth it, too much of a dump for that price and the renovation on this place would be huge as well. Those who bought it must saw something they liked about it...

Most people who even see it for a sec would go wtf and after hearing the price, they would leave if they hadn't just from the outer appearance of this place.
