If you got a steady job with a decent pay n u got the chance to be a celebrity in tvb, would u take the chance? NOTE: if ur not famous in tvb u lose ur job n always become jobless. but if u do become famous, u be rich as ever like errr Andy Lau/Stephew Chow would u risk it?
NOOO i wont xD because TVB- actors dont get much money even if they are famous... i heard they have a contract with TVB , they have to work for tvb a period of time and get their money. If i were rich i could also get famous xDDD for example hand out money for everyone ^____^
^Tisken, tho their salary might not be much, but they get a lot more from the promotional deals, advertisements, appearances on tv and public etc etc. And when they join contest shows like the one organized by Eric Tsang (i forgot the title at the moment lol) they get lots of good prizes... And of course when ur famous enuff, you venture into movies and others. It's kinda like a stepping stone for you. Andy Lau, Tony Leung, carina lau, maggie cheung, louis koo and a lot more, most of them started with TVB
Nope, I wouldn't. Too much pressure. Such hard work especially at bad times. You might also attract unnessesary attention from papparazzi
I won't work for TVB. I'm don't want to be famous and if I do get famous, it won't be from TVB. I'm too short anyways.
I want to work for TVB. I work for the fame and riches. More girls would be all over me. I even have the chance to date whoever I want, even Miss HK. I would love to be in Kevin Cheng's position right now.
heck no. at least not as an actor. maybe as part of the crew or something, sure. i'd hate wanting an entire continent gossiping about me. plus, as a celebrity, you can't do anything outrageous or stupid because loads of people will either applaud you or criticize you and there's always something to criticize about humans. like what tisken said about the contract i heard that tvb actors are bound by a contract and are limited to only acting in tvb productions (and even then, tvb hands you your show; you can't pick). if you were to act "outside" of tvb, some sort of arrangement (i assume dealing with money) has to be made.
I would...cuz i like acting...im currently taking drama...and i really like it...i want to take it further...but my parents say their is no operunities here in my cow town and in the HK entertainment circle..its really dark...and my parents dunt really like it..so i dunno... i have some frds in HK that do persuade thier so called dream..and some? just having a superstar dream...i dunno...
no, i would not want to work for tvb...there are many other jobs out there that are way better than tvb
