nowadays many ppl like to follow taiwan or japan fashion trend. they celebrities wear what fashion n the rest will follow..i wondering y???
i think its becuase the japanese fashion is very trendy so celebrities follow which leads to fans and people being influenced by their idols etc
actually this happens worldwide...anything a celeb wear no matter in wat country, ppl will follow the trend...advertisement and celebs attracts consumers
I guess because originally people though Japanese fashion was very cool and so the country became a trendsetter. So now what ever Japan thinks is cool, is cool.
I agree with dim8sum... I think their style is stupid... but all asians love it... Whatever the Japanese wear... the Taiwanese wear... then Hong Kong... then China... etc etc.
taiwan was once ruled by japan so some of the japanese culture still remians there... n the rest r like what The_Ugly_Fugly said (i don't feel very comfortable calling someone with that name) it's the domino effect... or the sheep effect...
I think both of fashion trends are almost similar. Both of them have unique and free spirit style. So, it looks really modest.
yeah it's totally a domino effect. but one of my friends get really upset when i call it the "Japanese style" because he believes the Japanese copy the skaters... of iono what country. xD

Only rednecks shop at walmart for clothes. Heres a reason why people choose to follow Japanese fashion trend...they are creative in their style. Bathing Ape and Evisu comes out with some sic gear. Another reason is clever marketing. You get several celebrities to wear your brand, make it exclusive and lower the supply, next thing u know u got people wanting a piece of it.
