Well, IMHO (if this is real and not a hoax or some sort of unannounced security exercise) the people with real egg on their faces is the HK airport personnel, who allowed him to board the Air Canada flight in the first place. I'm sure that there's going to be a whole lot of pain about this in HK right now. -noclue
dammit ralph i just posted this and completely missed ur thread =p but yea i was watchin up youtube pranks on this and thought some1 was going to try this one day and get away with it. Dude couldn't sweat it out for like a 16 hour flight eh lol. One mistake he made was underestimate the airplane bathroom time, there be always people lining up hes bound to get caught.
well you cant cut out the possibility that this is possible. He must have been desparate to get to wherever he wants to go by not exposing himself.
LOL... Sorry H. Weird but amazing story. It's often the ideas that are least likely to succeed... that wind up working simply because no one would ever suspect that anyone would try something so lame. -lol What get's me is that, when you look at the picture, it's quite obvious that the disguised head is totally disproportionate to the man's body frame. I mean, he looks freakishly macabre. Maybe it was because of this that HK airport security people didn't want to approach or question him. They probably thought that the man looks so damned bad that it's got to be real. Still, given the incongruence of this old face and young hands, I still think that that should have been a tip off for closer scrutiny.
Well tuats the whole point of perception. Would you question a man looking likebthat when u r working in tue customs at any place? I mean in the streets u may get people especially immature people taking the mick of how he looks like but and other situations u wouldnt really wanna go near him. I think this bloke who had disguised himself (if he ever did do it) is a genuis of some sort to create a mask like that tho and not a face that will catch some sort of attraction i.e good looks etc

He apparently didn't speak. I read another article in which another passenger (a woman) stated that she detected and saw through his disguise. An air hostess was trying to get him to move out of another passenger's way, and it appeared that he didn't understand a word they were saying. When she took a closer look, she realized that the man was wearing a silicone mask. She then stated that she tried to alert three different members of the air crew to her discovery, but was rebuffed each time. They didn't seem to want to take her seriously.
