Anyone had this problem before? The video doesnt play at all and it is stuck at the black screen but the sound is playing? But the video plays on the channel: Things I've tried: -Reinstalling firefox -Using other webbrowers (IE9, Chrome) same thing -Reinstalled the adobe flash player -Googling this error... If anyone know how to fix this please help! Thankies!
This is only a temporary fix, hopefully Youtube or Adobe will correct it. Find a Flash thing on a website, NOT from Youtube, i.e. the one that says "Successfully Installed" on this page: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ Right click it, go to "Settings" and untick the "Enable Hardware Acceleration" option. Hopefully Youtube videos should work now. Be aware that because you are turning the acceleration off, it may make your PC run slower when watching the videos (more CPU intensive). From what I can find, it's to do with Youtube's video player on the main site being a newer (and broken) version than the ones you see on the channel pages.
