    haven't downloaded stuff of youtube for ages... i think i used this site called youtubex.com to download.

    A great product i've come across is Sothink SWF Catcher for Firefox 2.0

    It is pretty easy to use.

    I had a long list of YouTube Downloaders I recently found.

    There include online and software Youtube downloaders, also downloaders for other Vid sites

    What's the difference between "Online Downloaders" and "Software Downloaders"?

    Online--The downloader is "Online" so in most cases all you need is the YouTube URL

    The Software, you have to download it and it installs on your computer.

    Really depends on personal use, but I prefer to use software

    I currently using a software called ImTOO YouTube to iPod Converter v1.0 It is very useful cause it will helps to convert the files into different format that you want before download into your drive(eg.mp4 format,3gp format)
