Since dating Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健), Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) has noticeably decreasing her filming output. It appeared that Yoyo preferred to challenge herself in her project selections. In the new RTHK drama, Fire Service Special 2 <火速救兵II>, which was based on real life fire incidents, Yoyo will portray a female firefighter. Revealing that she actively sought out the opportunity to secure the firefighter role, Yoyo stated, “When I realized that RTHK was casting for Fire Service Special 2, I contacted the producer, who said that I fit the role as well. I have met female firefighters in real life and find them to be outstanding! The male and female firefighters treat each other as equals. I know that I will never be able to become a firefighter in this life!” To meet the physical requirements for the role, Yoyo has been training deligently. Despite her fear of heights, Yoyo practiced sliding down the fire house pole. Due to the filming of upcoming dangerous scenes, boyfriend Ekin Cheng advised her to be careful.
