Wednesday February 14, 2007 U.S.A. It is hoped that Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi will star in a Hollywood disaster movie this year, depicting the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. Mark. Harris, producer of the movie "Crash" says that they are preparing for the movie. The 150 million-US-dollar production will include leading roles for Chinese characters, and they hope to attract the services of Zhang Ziyi. The film, dubbed the Asian-American "Titanic", will coincidentally also feature Leonardo DiCaprio as its leading actor. If Zhang Ziyi accepts the invitation, she will be the first Asian actress to collaborate with the American star. credits: crienglish, asianfanatics.

lol the dude is old but i think zhang ziyi can make it on her own, americans tend to like the movies she's been in.
I really think she can't act well...and her facial expressions are annoying. The only movies I liked her in were the road home (which she is great in) and 2046 (which even she couldn't ruin with her bad acting.) Jasmine flower is gawd aweful(X3 due to having to see her act as three annoying women instead of just one). Her acting in Hero was Gawd aweful too. I think Zhang Yimou learned his lesson after that one. The ShiMianMaiFu movie was ok, but they should have picked a better girl as the lead. Tales of a Ghesha girl didn't impress me and Crotch of tigers hid in drag queens was so over rated. I just can't believe how much everyone gizzed all over that movie. OHH and did anyone see her Hamlet movie? That's just crap X10. Shakespeare would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pissed if he saw that. The Ethen Hawk modern version of Hamlet was amazing (By the way). Aren't there enough bad asian actors that manage to make it big in hollywood (IE: Jacky Chan). Hollywood already has Tom Cruise and Ke-I can't spell his hawaiian ass name-annu Reves, we don't need to add more bad foreign actors/actresses. we already have enough crap of our own. if we are going import acresses from china, we should get Liu Yifei. she may not be able to act as some of the other actresses in china, but she is super hot. And tall too! she could never be in a movie with tom cruise i guess.
mmm ... I dunno if this will be a good movie. So far the last few disaster movies have been terrible.
