HK is the shopping paradise in Asia and perhaps the whole world. Everything is available and the price is negociatable. Examples are:
    - PS3 60GB version: in HK 3790 HKD, in EU 599 EUR
    - Polo shirts: in HK appr. 600 HKD, in EU 99 EUR
If you like food, HK is the right place to be. You can go for very cheap food around the corner for a few HKD or luxury delicasies which can cost you many 1000s of HKD.
BTW do you have a place to stay or are you renting a hotel?
If you stay for at least a month you can try to rent an appartment. Much cheaper!!!
If you need info let me know. Please note: It's a commercial business so no private run things

Agreed. HK is definately shopping heaven.... Especially for new tech stuff like mobiles, cameras, MP4s and the like. Some models just don't come out in foreign countries like Aust.... Or they're slow by a few years.... Muahahahaha.... Can't wait to go back this year. >=D

For mobiles and gadgets: Mong kok or Sham Shui Po

Video games and computer related: Sham Shui Po (Golden Arcade)

Luxurious brands like LV and such: Tsim Sha Tsui

Yep, you have to know the local areas, or have a local guide that you feel comfortable with to show you around or you won't get the real feel of HK. A cousin or chill family member is the best.

-lol Haha! Agreed! The water's a bit too murky for my taste.... But the sharks on the other hand make good shark fin soup. Muahahahaha! -devil

Hm.... The CITS one or two day HK travels might be good too.... Depending on where you'd like to go and if you like seeing scenery, that is. -blush

Ditto. Abolone and seafood is also good in HK.... But bummin' out in the streets and ordering 'street food' is another great way to experience common HK culture. >=D

Do you guys know of any specific restaurants that I must visit?

But besides eating and shopping, I like doing active stuff more. Any places to ride jet skis, windsurf, parasail, etc?

Which tourist agency do you recommend?

Do they have a lot of water sports like jetskiing, parasailing, scuba diving, etc? How about riding on atvs, horses, etc?

I was planning to stay at a hotel, but I'm open to cheaper alternatives. Is it possible to stay at an apartment for 2 weeks? I looked into one on expedia, but I didn't know how good it is. Do you have a link for it?

cool, where can I find out more about other people's concerts?

If you are in Satin shopping mall there is a section with all types of travel agencies. But you can ofcourse look at the local papers. They are loaded with ads from for instance Wing-On.

Senya should have these activities. Best to ask travel agency. But it is very beautiful there. It is called the Hawaii of China.

You can try serviced appartements, but the backdraw is that you need to rent for at least one month. But it is cheaper then hotel anyway.
    Here is an example:

    action..?
go to themeparks.. disneyland or ocean park. You can SHOP and have loads of fun. But not really disneyland.. not that much intense rides there.

also go bike riding or something..
