nothing really...especially if u have lived there for quite sometime...but if u are visitor the 1st time, everywhere should be interesting;
Must see/ go when you are in HK. Peak and Victoria harbour Horse gambling: -Happy valley (there is also one at sha tin but happy valley is surrounded with highrise!) Clubbing: -Ofcourse laan kwai fong, clubs like c club, dragon i (lots of models), Lux, Edge.... Cannot rembemer more right now (Central, but expensive) -Knotsford terras (Tsim Sha Tsui, more locals) Tsim Sha Tsui > also a good place to do some karaoke -Wanchai (the HK redlight district with bars) -Very highclass lounge bar Aqua near peninsula hotel. (have to go to the top floor of the building, nice view, not sure which building though, ask the locals) Culture stuff: -Wong thai sien -Big buddha at Lantau Island -Go for the museums at the harbour of Tsim sha tsui on wednesday the entry is free! -Mongkok with its markets, foods and recent build shopping mall langham place (nice escalator) Nature -Lamma island great seefood -Pink dolphins at Tai O -Nice and quite beach at Shek O. BBQ facilities like most of the beaches (This beach is less crowded during summer) This is pretty much i can come up with right now. Went to Hong kong for 8 months doing an exchange program with HKU. By writing this post really want to go back to visit all these places..... Hehe enjoy your stay
as i said before lived there for 8 months with other exchange students. So did a lot of sight seeing and partying there.
Ok have to be honest. The pink dolphin tour was i bit to far from my resident so i didn't went to Tai O to see the dolphins. I heard from a friend it was worth it though.
you would think that with HK's MASSIVE entertainment industry and it's small geographical concentration, it wouldn't feel very special to spot a celebrity!!
