So Raptors are 1 win ahead of the bulls. I think it is safe to say that Chris Bosh is defiantly going to leave Toronto.
i hope this isn't the case...but with each additional loss for the raptors, things aren't looking so well at the end of the tunnel... if he leaves, i really hope he doesn't go to the knicks, heat, or bulls...
was that really what it was all about? i read that hedo didn't log a single minute even though he was fine physically.
I don't think Bosh is going to land in Miami. They're probably gonna go after Amare before Bosh, cause Bosh is more expensive and IMO Amare fits better with their offense than Bosh. Either way this has been a terrible season for the raptors. First the bad signing of Hedo (which I thought was one of the worst possible signings T.O. could have done). If Bosh doesn't leave then I would be VERY VERY VERY surprised.
we just need someone to replace bosh. My guess is that we're gonna resign Weems (i think its his last year), and maybe trade Calderon and Hedo since they're really not that good anyways. Calderon is playing better now so we might keep him. And yeah, we just need someone to replace Bosh. It'll be wonderful if we resigned Bosh AND signed Wade as well because i think Bosh will play better if we had Wade! But i have to keep dreaming..
i've read some rumors of a bosh sign and trade for kaman with the clippers but i'd take this with a grain of salt cause the same was said with bosh and bynum... bosh is a great great player, but i don't see how he fits in with the clippers.
I say trade Calderon, Hedo, and at least try to get some assets with a sign and trade deal through Bosh. Might as well trade Bargani too. Raptors are in a terrible spot right now. Their first round draft pick is gone to the Heat and they have no core to build around. This rebuilding process make take a couple years unless Colangelo (I'm gonna say FIRED!) or whoever is GM at the point pulls off some insane magical transactions.
ouch...that's not only detrimental to the team, but to the fans... did the raptors lose the pick in the marion trade? i didn't think that they were in such a bad position... let's just hope that they can close out the season strong and hopefully at least get in to the eastern quarterfinals!
not so easy trading calderon and turk they are big contracts and under performers you probably won't get good value back for these guys right now. what about the david lee sign and trade rumor...i don't mind seeing david lee in toronto he'lll give you 100% every night of course he not a star but great role guy.
i don't think david lee will help that much. the raptors are already small enough and adding a 6-9 out of position center doesn't really solve your problems.
If we're gonna lose Bosh, then we need a replacement for him. And i think Lee can actually be a replacement for Bosh.
IMO I don't think they should go after Lee if they have other options, but I guess you could get him and see how it goes then possibly trade him to get some assets. I'm not sure how many years are left on David Lee's contract though so that might not be a good idea. Raps will just have to suck next year and hope the rebuilding process doesn't take too long.
i dont know why but im so excited to see raptors lose..when melo scored that shot i jumped and screamed..and when weems missed those 2 free throws today i got happy......im sure that raps will b 8th since they have an easier schedule than bulls and possibly stronger team since noah isn't 100%....safe to say now...bye bye bosh
the worst possible scenario would be missing the playoffs, winning the draft lottery (i believe the #1 would then go to the heat), and losing bosh.
I think they should let the Bulls pass them in the playoffs then they get a lottery protected pick (which means the pick does not go to heat). Or so i've been told. The only way Bosh will stay is if they make the Eastern finals at least and that is a BIG longshot. Might as well miss the playoffs and reduce the damage.
