Eeew...I will not eat Ice-cream for a very long time.... But it's amazing though...For Jap to have such creativity =)
Durian Ice cream is actually pretty nice, same with Durian puffs, cakes and bread etc.. I think it's because it's like a creamy mushy fruit anyway? only downside to it the smell. I saw it for sale at the local "Passionflower" icecream shop in Chinatown and they keep it in a seperate compartment of the freezer, "Ice cream" apart-ide keep the smelly away from the regular. Other tasty flavours I have tried are Chilli, black sesame, green tea and Red Bull flavour. What I think is even more funny, is that Ice cream is traditionally a dairy food (ie made from milk) a few topics down, the question of do you drink milk - 90 - 95% asians can't take it due to lactose intolerance. How funny is it that the Japanese come up with these flavours? I reckon they make all these crazy flavours to hide the fact that the "Milk" in the ice cream is making them feel sick, so they can try different stuff in the ice cream to stop that milk bloaty feeling sick feeling and say "Nah it's not the milk in the ice cream, maybe fish flavour not for me...I don't feel so hot..." I am all for trying new thing's but ice cream that is meat flavoured - is just against the law's of nature. Oh unless it's beef stroganoff then that's ok as long as it's not chunky beef ..eeewwww....
actually these ice cream flavors aren't that frightening. some might be a bit too much of a taste for ice cream, some kinda gross to taste, but there are some that sound decent. i would want to try the red wine ice cream

i ate wasabi when i went to japan, ii tried it at two different stores and one tasted like heven and one tasted like hell.
omg!!! VIAGRA ice cream hm... i'm thinking, do they mean that it can 'function' like Viagra so you can just have the ice cream instead of the pill? HAHAHA!!!!
I have not had any of the above ice-cream, but I had Lobster ice-cream before. It really tasted like lobster.
although its not on the list, i never heard of a Lavender ice cream and so i tried that, weird at first but its actually quite nice when i was in Japan. but the one on the list that cracks me is the Natural Viagra ice cream. theres a flavour to viagra?? ~
i've tried wasabi icecream... it's actually not too bad believe it or not hahaha... it's interesting... i wouldn't mind trying the PEARL and COLLAGEN & LEMON flavour -lol
I may try the eel, squid and wasabi ice cream just for the hell of it but still I'll stick to my cookies n' cream
