Yeah, House on the Haunted Hill, about "surviving a night on a haunted mansion (which used to be a asylum) and get $1mil"? That's the only one exception I can remember... Unless of course if the main character happens to be black...
Nowadays they tend to make the black person the main character's best friend and he/she survives along with the main character. Usually black chick with a hot bod. Or a comical black guy. Maybe they are being careful with the racism issue haha.
