All the options merely focus on the level of UNDERSTANDING of Chinese. There isn't even an option for those who can read/write Chinese to choose from, really. Besides the members that post in the "let's type Chinese" thread.. who else here is fluent in Chinese AND English? Not much.
I would think that if someone can be on the fly translator at the UN, they would know how to read and write simple chinese characters. And rsx mentioned he would guess that 2% or less members of this forum are able to read chinese. Assuming I used 29,990 members and used 1% of that, it would amount to roughly 300. I am not even looking for 300 replies/votes. Around 50 is even good enough.
If u wanted to start a thread in Chinese; it's more appropriate to start it in the Asian Discussion -> Chinese Chat section.
Sometimes. Not to be horrible or anything, I think some people in a centain age are more or less a little bit 淫.
Well, let's define ACTIVE members and INACTIVE lurker members there. Numbers can be deceiving, just look at the various locations threads and you'll see. One of them got UK leading but little from Canada, another Dutch with little UK, yet another Canada with little UK... so somehow we have 3 contradicting results?? And yeah, KNOWING how to read and comprehend Chinese does NOT mean we want to type in it and/or want to be your free translator.
hey albertyyy....whats that word ya got there? as i translated and it comes up with this hahahaha -rotfl
^And that is exactly something the rest of us shouldn't have to do... Poor BBear.. -doh I look at it this way; when I am out with my Chinese friends and Malay friends alike; I speak English/Malay so the Malays wouldn't have a problem understanding or feel left-out. Sort of like my respect to them. Maybe it's just how I am and it doesn't need apply to anyone else.
^I mean if everyone is considerate enough to type in English; then the rest of us Chinese illiterate don't have to google it to find the meanings... -.-
Wanton is what I would say... -devil ^ I mean, Wanton is the most accurate literal translation... although we don't really use "wanton" as an adjective in everyday life anymore...
hahahaha hey albertyyy...so which meaning is it you wanting? what you trying to say?? P.S not seen ya online in a while nows....you on msn?? wanna chit chat
