Hm.. the Angels have three of the best starters in the entire MLB (Lackey, Santana (Ervin), Saunder), a bonafide bullpen with KRod, Shield, and Arredondo, and added Teixeria to protect Vlad? So why do you think they won't win?
^bro dont say that. we still have a chance. this will be a sicker comeback than the rockies last year......... =[. but yeah, how can you not go with the angels. they have a solid 1-3 pitching and jared weaver can pretty good, but hes so inconsistent. the knock on them this year was hitting, but they filled that up with teixera. they pretty much have speed or power throughout their whole line up. and how the hell is tampa still winning? on the road? without longoria and crawford? i thnk im a believer now.
The angels have a difficult path. They have to play boston or tampa bay in the first round instead of the central division champion.
Red Sox and Angels should be the most interesting series of the 1st round. Angels easily won the season series, but the Red Sox have swept the Angels the last 2 times these teams have met in the playoffs.
I like the Angels as well...very balanced team and should go deep if not all the way this year. But the Red Sox always find a way to win...some how. I still like the Cubs coming out from the National but who ever comes out from the American will be champ again.

The Rays won the season series 10-8 - hopefully the Rays can pull up the upset - I am pretty sure Boston is the favor in this series.
its going to be a tough series for both teams. the rays have been the best team in baseball all year. experience is the only thing the sox have on the rays. if beckett pitches well then boston should win.
