for you leafs fans seems like the leafs GM Ferguson has just been fired today and will be replaced by cliff fletcher so do you like it? LOL i think they still won't make it to the playoffs this year... hahahaha
its what we wanted ...the rebuilding process starts now.... but lot of crappy seasons ahead for us. fletcher should try to trade everyone and get draft picks ....draft draft and draft.
Relying on drafts is a bad idea. You can't bring in new players without a set base, or at least players that have experience playing with each other. And it'll take a while before this team is rebuilt. There are still other management issues.

i think what gainey had in mind before trading huet for a 2nd round pick in 2009!!... was that he prolly thought he could get hossa, just like if everything was planned then he traded huet, since the habs have price and huet, which makes 1 of them a little bit useless and maybe he just wanted to take a chance on price and hopes he can do like what roy and dryden did to get a cup at young age, but it's a high risk, and it's like if he is hoping for miracles to happen cuz price and halak don't have the experience in playoffs
