Alonso is a great passer with the ball... he has alot of vision but that's the same for Barry as well... If rafa thinks Barry's a better passer then it might lead to an exit for Alonso.
well it all depends on Barry now... since liverpool has got quite a big midfield option... Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard, Lucas, Pennant, Bennayoun, Babel .. and they have aurelio tat could also play on the left side of midfield But woul d be interesting playing Barry Mascherano Gerrard in midfield
