. . . what's so bias about it? it's an AMERICAN network, so they'll cheer for AMERICAN team, not the "WHITE AMERICA" that you're talking about hadouken. go watch the Chinese network if you don't want the bias commentary, seriously. and go visit Yahoo! Chinese. I'm not being racist here or favoring USA over China, I'm just tired of reading all the comments on how NBC commentary is being bias and all that towards the Chinese because that's their job. (Sorry, it's not only on this site that I read those types of comments, just decided to vent here...)

The two yahoo you pulled up may seem very bias indeed, but it speaks the truth if you watched closely. Cheng Fei beating beating Alicia Sacaramonte was a big big joke. She made big three mistakes: bad jump(-.2 points), hands were uneven(-.2 points), and SHE LANDED ON HER KNEES (-.8 points), you compare those 3 big mistakes to that of Alicia, and please tell me how she beat Alicia aside for a superior first vault; and no the difficulty was not much more difficult then that of Alicia.

As for the tie-breaker whine, they're not referring anything to the Chinese negatively, so I don't see how you're getting all mad over it. They're simply disagreeing with the system. If the judge agreed OVERALL that Nastia and He deserved the Gold, then why doesn't both get Gold? As said by the NBC commentary and the guy you guys hate, Karolyi, why can't gymnastic have two of the same medals while other sports has two of the same medals? (Track) And that the cause of this whole controversy is because of this new test system of judging/scoring in this years Olympic in Gymnastics.

Oh, and I'm pretty sad that we couldn't witness Liu's greatness this year, and that all these stupid rumors are coming up. God, media does piss me off sometimes, but only if its false propangda, not "bias commentary."

  2. thats just as immature as the article from yahoo.

Americans and media blackouts, they keep viewers in the dumb then it spreads like a plague. You should watch networks outside the states for real world news. NBC as biased? yes i've seen so many sporting events where the americans lose and their commentators sound so sour or just very one sided. Not so say it happens frequently but sometimes it does and you really think americans should pull their head out of their asses. Over here we don't make a big very deal out of any of those issues, cheaters will be delt with and fireworks faking is whatever.

i havn't seen the event so i can't comment myself but if they wanted to whine about the rules they should of done it before the american loss. It feels like Americans are for the first time being threatened of losing their #1 spot and they are panicing.

Im not pro chinese , i just hate the way america handle their news.

immature? favoring one country over another if its your only country isn't immature at all. I may not watch other country news/broadcasts, but I'm pretty sure they're equally biased towards their own country.

i think as long as US wins in medal counts, they'll be satisfied, although by 2012, the china might surpass US in medal count as well -_-

nope, as much as i am proud to be full chinese, i am an ABC, and have more pride in america then in china ;). but i won't mind china winning in terms of medals, it'll bep retty interesting to see how much harder that'll put US atheletes in comparsion to the chinese who train atheletes at the age of like 3, not like us will ever do that haha

man, boltz is a beast, insane lightning bolt, so is the rest of the jamicans, they run barefooted ever since a young age :O crazy

embarassing and sad, embarassing for the country's image, and sad for the gymnast who trained so hard, she earned it, i disagree with the rule, although it does have its positives, like restricting nations (china) to pushing their atheletes at a young age through training that might injure them in the long term. (Although its not really working..)

  14. once again hatred...let us get our glory!!!

  15. uryu u didn't get why i quoted u but anyways heres an article about the underage thing

    http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/be...slug=ap-gym-underagechinese&prov=ap&type=lgns

speculation is one thing but some people are just bitter and disrespectful to plain out call a team cheating without true confirmation, it gives people a false image and in the end it may not be true but the image has already been implanted into peoples minds and tarnished. Do i think those girls are under aged? its quite possible but i ain't no sour grape.

As for me , if i had ever had a speculation that i was beat by 12 year olds... they can keep the god damn medal, its not like they took drugs or anything but thats just my opinion and rules are rules.

agreed if i was beat by a younger person i wouldn't want their medals as a charity... i mean if it's like a steroid scandal or whatever then it's bad but it's just age. and the so called computer specialist for the U.S. is just probably jealous.

o_O u quoted me? i don't see it -_- the only thing we disagree on is the phelp overrated thing, i think he's the one of the greatest Olympian of all time and maybe THE BEST (not the greatest ahtelete though, but Olympian definitely..) if he can redo half of what he did in 2012 :x

but i totally agree on this china thing. i really don't want them to take away this girl's gold, regardless of her age. its pretty stupid, to be beaten by a 14 year old, and then being mad and asking for investigation. ridiculous part on the Americans to do the extra research to try and get the IOC to investigate. this whole age rule is retarded to begin with, cepally because no other sports has a age restriction old or young, sooooo stupid. (yes i know the purpose of it is to stop countries like China from hardcore training on underaged youth to help reduce the chances of long term injury, but it's not really working anyways...)

anyways. did anyone see the dive from that 15 year old, Chen Ruolin, to help China go 7/7 in gold for diving? and the baton miss by both genders for American in the 400 relay? :x this Olympic has been better then what I've expected so far :p

    bbes Incredible

yea i know lol. also, i agree who cares if she is underage, fact is if she is i wouldn't want to know cos that means that i got beaten by a much younger person which makes it even more embarrassing. also, i don't believe for one moment that the US basketball players haven't been taking steroids before. they just stop before the olympics but they must have taken it before otherwise they couldn't get such large muscles.
