Well the Heat did not start off well the first few games but now have dominated in the NBA league.

The Spurs only have six lost, and are playing very well - veteran team - Dallas need help - Dirk need to return from his injury. The Lakers struggle at now may be good for them. Heat are playing very well.

haha wade was on fire to start the game and he made 14 of his first 15 shots. too bad he got ice cold, finishing the game 14-22. nonetheless, aside from his 6-14 ft shooting, a great game for dwade.

    Western Conference All-Star reserves: T. Duncan, P. Gasol, R. Westbrook, B. Griffin, M. Ginobili, D. Nowitzki, and D. Williams.

    Eastern Conference All-Star reserves: R. Allen, P. Pierce, R. Rondo, K. Garnett, C. Bosh, A. Horford, J. Johnson

I can't believe Kevin Love did not make the list... Kevin Love and LaMarcus Aldridge should have been on the western all star team instead of Nowitzki and Duncan. All star game isn't about lifetime achievements, it's about which players performed the best the first half of the season. Lamar Odom, Steve Nash, Monta Ellis, and Zach Randolph are other snubs who deserved spots. And wow with Boston's Big 4 all making it. Don't agree with the Bosh pick though...

I hope David Stern makes the right decision and replaces Yao with Love.

I guess you could make the argument for Boozer or Smith over Bosh, but I'd rather take Johnson out and put Boozer in with Bosh still on the team. Overall I'm happy with the east reserves. AKA the Boston Celtics

Dirk has been playing solid basketball (shooting 52% from the field) so I would keep him on the team even though he missed some games due to injury. LMA started off pretty slowly so that's one thing that hurt him. The only thing I would change about the West (assuming Love replaces Yao Ming) would be taking Duncan out and putting Steve Nash. Nash is once again in the 50-40-90 club and he's averaging 16pts, 11asts at age 36? He's basically putting up the same numbers he had during his two MVP years. He's also the only reason the Suns are even in the playoff hunt. I love Duncan, but he was a purely picked based on his past.

But it would still be pretty hard for me to snub LMA. This year's west is just so packed with good bigs that some all star worthy players like LMA, Randolph, and others would be left out.

nowitzki's been good, but i just think it's time for the all star game to have some new faces. early word is nash as yao's replacement, but i definitley hope that's not the case...

When it's all said and done we're all going to tune in on Sunday for the game between the Western Conference All-Stars and the Boston Celtics.
