I see Amare staying with the Suns right now, and Bosh going to Miami. Miami seems like they can offer the most plausible best sign and trade deal. I've heard rumors about the Bulls with Taj Gibson and Noah, but Bulls are def not gonna let Noah go, not to mention Gibson had a pretty solid season and his shot blocking ability is what the Grizzlies were hoping for when they drafted Thabeet LOL. I've also heard something about a sign and trade with David Lee, where Lee would also be signed and traded.

Well, tomorrow is the start of it all.

contrary to previous reports, the bulls DO NOT have enough cap space to offer two max contracts. the only way they could do that would be by dealing deng and he has a very unattractive contract.

joe johnson is about to sign a 6 year 119 million contract which might be the worst contract ever given out...

on another note, LBJ said to make his decision by monday! let the dominoes start falling

Joe Johnson at best, is the 2nd man on a great team, possibly even 3rd man. Hawks are gonna get around 2 good seasons and then they're going to start regret that contract all the way till it ends.

Memphis also jumped too early on Rudy Gay. He was a restricted free agent and they didn't even wait a little. They just pounced on him right away. He's also getting overpaid for what he offers to the team.

As expected, a lot of players are going to get overpaying contracts this season. More to come when teams start to get really disappointed and desperate.

rondo lost $25 million because he signed his extension one year earlier. instead of $80 million, he'll be making $55 million. 2010 is no doubt a huge year.

Some of these people don't even deserve the amount they are getting...

These teams seem so rushed to sign some of these people who hasn't really proven much yet.

    1. Knicks haven't yet made an offer to Amar'e, sources say. Sides will talk over weekend. LBJ and Wade still recruiting forwards for themselves 20 minutes ago via web

I'd be surprised if Amare signed this early.

Toronto isn't making a move? Wtf?

I'll say 75% chance Wade and Bosh ends up together since they share same agent + good buds

Imagine... Wade and Lebron on the same team! Haha, automatic championship contender.

So what do you all think about New York signing Amare to $100 million dollars for 5 years? That is franchise player money, you think Amare deserves that kind of contract?

I guess it's more of the fact that the Knicks are desperate since they didn't appeal to Lebron. That's what you get when you basically self destruct your whole team for the chance at signing one player. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Knicks are terrible, not only on the court, but off the court. Their management failed big time and i guess you could say 'over-prepared' for free agency. No way in hell Amare is going to make that team a playoff contender. They have a lot of work to do.

BTW all of that $100 is guaranteed. Not a good call if you take into consideration possible injury problems.

  14. i'll cheer on whatever team bosh is in since Toronto will suck this season and Atlanta must be on crack to offer Joe Johnson 119 million for six years.

I'm more interested more in the Maple Leafs than the Raptors right now.

Steve Blake signing with the Lakers, it might be good, i'm not a fan of Jordan Farmar and Fisher is getting slower and doesnt shoot 3's anymore
Steve Blake can shoot 3's and he seems a bit faster than Fisher

Atlanta is so stupid, Joe Johnson is not worth that much, one of the stupidest moves so far.

New York is making their move on Amare but they are still trying to get the big fish..Amare is like plan B or a combo James and Amare. But getting James chances are really small...

But Fisher is so clutch. He's probably the 2nd best late game performer other than Kobe on the Lakers. :p Can't beat experience

And guys, if you feel bad reading about these deals and how your team is failing. Just remember that at least your team is not the Timberwolves -lol
