    The Golden Boyz reunited:trollface:

  2. I wonder how the Penguins lines are goinng to look like with Iggs.

    Right now it's:

Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis
Brenden Morrow - Evgeni Malkin - James Neal
Matt Cooke - Brandon Sutter - Tyler Kennedy

The Kunitz-Sid-Dupuis line are producing really well, it'd be stupid to break them up.
The Morrow - Malkin - Neal line is fucking BOSS. Don't touch it.

So that leaves the third... Iginla on the third line?

    Dupuis-Crosby-Iginla
    Kunitz-Malkin-Neal
    Morrow-Sutter-Cooke
    Glass-Adams-Kennedy

Best case. Dupuis is more effective with Crosby and is a natural left winger.
Kunitz reunites with Malkin and Neal (we all know how that line dominated last year).

Poor Lou. What a shitfest going on with the Canucks. Gillis is such a joke of a GM lol. At least with Burke in Anaheim, he let two players walk with low return, because they wanted to play.

Inb4 "Lou gets paid millions, so he should shut up about it". There would be nothing more idiotic to say than that, when the player himself is willing to trash the contract and play at discount.

    Man just wants to play.

Gillis has the chance to get rid of him. Apparently Leafs offer was Scrivens, 3rd + 4th pick. Gillis wanted more and it didn't happen.

I'm not a big fan of the contract. But i'm 100% fine going with Reimer as our #1 as of now. I know we're not winning the cup, but it's nice for Reimer + Scrivens get to experience the playoff with the Leafs. If Reimer can solidify himself as a #1A, then we have 1 less hole to fill.

  6. Was that the Leafs' offer? It's interesting because the final VAN offer was Scrivens + 2 second rounders.

However it's also fascinating that some are against the contract and okay with the trade, while others are okay with the contract, and dislike the trade :O

Personally, if we were in the situation where both our goalie suck, I would love to have Lou with both contract and trade. We can afford the contract IMO. However with our present situation, I think the issue is that we don't want to kill the confidence of both goalies who are playing well :(

wasn't even gonna complain since kings were so outplayed in the first, but then richards had to score in the 3rd to make this a 1 goal loss...

^ I saw that live.. and it was frustrating to watch too. It was clearly a good goal but a bad call by the ref (early call).

It's crucial especially in the playoff.. and also that they cant score..

    Go Kings Go.

  11. Bruins! get out the broooooms:trollface:

i'll be damned if the blackhawks lose (coach Q getting canned?). i wouldn't have liked the kings chances against them in the western finals, but against detroit is a tiny bit more of a relief.

  13. red wings been playing sudden death hockey since the last week of the season ..fought hard just to make it.

    bhawks underestimating them!

    Bruins can't sweep :(

What a comeback for the Hawks. Disallowed goal.. and still won the game soon after. I was rooting for the Wings though :(

Fun fact: Current final 4 were the last 4 Stanley Cup Champion (LA 2012, BOS 2011, CHI 2010, PITS 2009).

    Rooting for LA and Bruins.
