kemp only hitting .417 now. :( also, darvish is off to a fantastic start. great move picking him up instead of resigning wilson. could've been in a jays uniform though!
Jays commentators were talking how kemp predicted a 50/50 year (50 hrs and 50stls) i like his confidence but he has better shot at triple crown no one has done 50/50 even dating back the olden days lol
Morrow pitched a gem last night... 2 hits only need moar of this from our starters...we cannot rely on closers-_-
I would like to see a season where Jays are completely healthy... this year it was the pitchers getting hurt:(
One of the worst seasons I've seen for the Jays, and its not even the fact that they're bad because of skills but the fact that we are plagued by injuries. 3 starting pitchers gone, and the 2 we have left aren't performing well. Half out line-up is on the disable list and the line up we have now mirrors our Las Vegas 51's starting line up from April; not a good sign. We're always a team that is flirting with the .500 mark and it honestly pains me to be happy about the fact that we reached .500 when we clearly have the potential to do so much better. What I'm looking forward to for the rest of the reason is to see Morrow back (love watching him pitch), have Romero regain his stuff and hopefully have most of the line up restored. And just for kicks, here's the comparison between the LV 51's and our starting line up in Oakland:
dodgers and red sox agree to blockbuster trade sending james loney, allen webster, rubby de la rosa, jerry sands, and ivan de jesus jr to boston for adrian gonzalez, carl crawford, and josh beckett. wow, the dodgers are really flexing their financial muscles now. love the agon acquisition but i hate the crawford and beckett ones... word is dodgers are also paying over $260 million of the $276 million owed to those players. overall i'm not liking this deal. no financial flexibility moving forward and the luxury tax is just behind the corner. i would've rather the dodgers just wait for the summer and sign josh hamilton, greinke, and victorino... WHY NED WHY!
was going to post this but didn't think it was official yet you guys got bank huh? thats alot of money to take on...good players although Crawford just had season ending surgery. sounds like a move to win now..those are 3 all-star caliber players...if you got the money/cap why not?..I like this move for the Dodgers. as for Red Sox...first time in a long time they are rebuilding.
The deal is now official. I think it was a great pick up for the Dodgers, it might help them get a definite play off position, especially since the Giants are their main threat. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120824&content_id=37259756&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb
^ the bison would be more than happy to share it! the dodgers have a plethora of team-first players and kemp's one of them!
bright spot for Jays this year is Encarnacion! 36 hrs/92 rbi ..most improved player this year? and all star snubbed! looking at standings Nationals are best team in baseball this year!?
