    Those thing all have serial numbers, and most thieves are stupid. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the store displays all have a hidden unpublicized security device or software installed. Even if they do sell those things and keep their lips absolutely sealed (which they won't because they need that fame, like "...hey, that's me they're talking about; I'm pretty awesome right?") these thing will eventually get back to them.

    So yes, they'll be caught eventually, it's like the inevitability of gravity.
