I always liked Bosco quote's in the storyline (near the end). The last quote is quite golden with the reference to the candle. Joey's look at the end is pretty cute.
I didn't like the ending but I think it was ok, at least it wasn't total crap unlike most tvb endings.

didn't you see michael miu meet another girl who looked EXACTLY like joey meng at the end at the garden or whatever? i can't recall how many times i've seen something like that happen in shows by TVB.

my preferred ending? something that's not typical ending, like: - almost everyone dies - people are chasing each other and someone gets hit by a car, either this person dies or he will suddenly forget everything (that he/she is in love with the main lead) (this is not really an ending, this usually happens 5 episodes before the end xD) - main guy is in an accident or some dangerous situation, suddenly screen goes black and we're led to believe that the main guy is dead, but actually he's not, he shows up and we have a "happy ending" (silly ending) - main guy sees someone who looks EXACTLY like the person he loved (but died), we assume they fall in love and we get a "happy ending" i bet i missed a few more unpredictable TVB endings, but these are the ones i can think of right now
^most of your "endings" happened in this drama, similarly......... that would be epic, considering the genre of this drama.... but definitely not my ideal type of an ending because it's a lazy way to conclude a pretty good beginning and mid drama.....hence, which fortunately, the drama didnt show such thing which lead me to my opinion that the ending "aint too bad"... very similar of wat happen to the supporting cast, Sammy shum, but who the hell cares, because he's supporting right?...... i think this is a great ending, but very similar to wat happened to Michael... Michael however was saved by Joey.....but, the idea was there.. sorta confuse of whether u wanted this to happened or you're sic and tired of such ending..... but didnt this happened? My apologies if u r speaking with sarcasm and the fact that i didnt catch it... but to be honest, i really didnt find any hints of sarcasm within your post..... Not to be a judge and critque your preferred endings, but i just wanted to prove y i said "aint too bad of an ending" when u said

^watever dude? It's my perspective, not everyone think alike, and I aint even trying to win or any "kiss my ass, u lose" stuff, heck, it's not even an argument... just wanted to point out y i dont hate the ending as much as u do, that's all....
I agreed with Turbo, it didnt end as bad as I thought, of course it could've been better but at least i wasn't expecting Joey to do a surgery and became another Nikki, i mean we all knew she wasn't dead but i just thought she was coming back to kill everyone. The two Nikkis thing looks like a soap opera thing.
The ending felt a little rushed for my liking. I like twists....it was good but not great the way it ended.
