call the waiter over, point at your soup and the very evident hairy fly and look at the waiter's expression, i'm sure something will happen then
they change it then if they add anything dont know but usually they just cancel that order and give it to you for free
that happened to me before lol, but instead of a fly, its a small cockroach -.- i went up to them and complain and all they did was change the plate. i was thinking that they would make the whole meal free lol.
Do not complaint or otherwise they would make pay more for the extra ingredients. It is just the funny part. Now more serious. You should order another dish, and when it arrives, then complain.
u complain more n watch out if the chef pisses in ur soup lols - or adds any extra special ingredient to it ..lol
I've found a roach in my soup before, I just told them about it so they can be more careful next time and I stopped eatting. They offered me a second bowl.. but one roach for the day was enough. I never went back there again!
yeah, i wonder how to -unsure true, i guess my eyes are pretty good huh (just kidding). i was eating this desert thingy...like jelly and it's white so the poo are quite visible.
if it was me i would def complain and threaten to complain the food standards agency. if there was a fly in ur soup, it makes me think what else could be in the food and whether the hygene of the kitchen is of the correct standard. well i guess u will know if u have a tummy ache or suffer from diarheoa in the next few days. if u get those symptoms after a few days it prob still bcos of the restaurant if u didn't know cos it could have been salmonella which is an endotoxins and the effects of those are only visible after a few days.
^ Actually, I'm not really that surprised. It's gross, and unacceptable, of course, but accidents do happen. I'd complain and make sure that the restaurant knows of my dissatisfaction so that it doesn't occur again, but to the food standards agency/ health authorities? Wouldn't that be taking it a little too far? If the health authorities know what they're doing, they should be doing routine checks on restaurants to minimise such problems, and not check only when they receive reports. Erm...salmonella and flies? What's the connection?
im talking about hygene cos flies usually hang around areas where hygene is bad and salmonella is just an example which i used about bad hygene within restuarants.
^ Salmonella is more commonly associated with raw foods. E.coli is the bacteria that is frequently associated with poor hygiene by food handlers
I work in the kitchens of reataurants. Stories that you've heard... well...they may be true..like allowing a caterpillar to be in the lettuce to see whether the customer spots it! Sometimes, customers think that there is a piece of hair in the food but it turns out to be fibres from mushrooms that have not been cleaned properly. So... be careful..
humpf, it's the same as there is hair in my food.... Some people are retarted Mister there is a hair in my food. Me: But it's a long hair..... Can I get another one??? Me: .......-.-, But we dont have anyone working here, with such a hair lenght. *watching at her daughter that has long hair* Yes, But can i get another one??? me: -bash
dont even bothered telling the waitress watch love in delivery and see the part where a guy had a fly in his soup and you will know iwhat i meant.
