I am impressed with how he can get the plumbing system to work with the moving walls - kitchen and bathroom. It's a very good use of space for such a small apartment; however, this is not what I would call "home"; not cozy and comforting. You gotta be in that set mentality to be able to live and breathe in such tight space. I personally can not do it. I'd probably feel stuffed and it reminded me so much of those moving shelves in the doc's office.
the plumbing system is stationary, the tub, and the sink are all on one wall, and is the last hidden layer
It does have potential, especially in terms of being able to provide affordable housing for either the homeless, poor, or disaster victim. One can imagine the possibilities if such an idea is married up with those who advocate using cargo shipping containers as housing.
I think it's a bit over stated, because it seems like an excessive chore to move here and there, change this and that. Imagine wanting to shower, you would have to shift this, and that. It is unique no doubt, but over time, I think it's just a hassle, especially w/ too much people. Still clever.
lol yah i agree why are there subs? i could understand him, i was only reading the subs because they were there and distracting me! Wow you guys must have big places, I don't think that place looks 'too' small
