Lots of people say age difference doesn't really matter but in reality it sure does! Age difference matters to a women when the guy is younger than her. Sure 3 year difference doesn't seem that much off but to a girl's it is! A friend of mine who was dating a girl who was 5 years older than him for about 4 years and in the end the old excuse of a break-up, "I've always treated you as a little brother" lol! Pure pwnage!
Haha..that was funny. So basically the girl needs a little brother that's why she dated him for a freaking 4 years XD I really don't see why age would be a problem at this very day, you can date someone older than you but not younger? Wouldn't that be unfair to the guys since most guys date younger girls. One question here, why girls look for maturity? Can i make a guess that you see maturity = seriousness, secure?
It's really hard to say if you would have a chance with this girl that you like. In my opinion, if she's older than you by less than 5 years, then that's ok. Anything above that number, there could be a conflict of interest and generational gap as well.
Nowadays ppl are quite open with older women with younger men relationshp. Therefore u don't have to worry about what other ppl think. As long as you are happy.

hmmm.. i guess there is no difference but i would feel kind wierd datin someone younger then me.. iono i guess because the fact that i'm the oldest child and i would like someone to care for me instead of me caring for them.

lol at the above comment, ermm i think u should give it a shot, she's not that much older though generally speaking girls do prefer to date older guys or the same age.
I think 3 years is a small difference, so in this case, being together or not has more to do with compatibility than age.
