He came from some pog unit and was real big on Chain of Command. He gave all the power to dirtbags that knew how to bob for c0(% to get promoted. Alot, of people felt what happened to me was wrong. I myself knew it was wrong. I mean what kinda lawful order is hey you PFC come clean my shitter? hahaha, but the BC wouldn't listen he said I struck an NCO, and had to pay. I can still remember that day clearly. I stood there replaying the scene of Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury where the guys came with the picture frame reading 東亞病夫. I had the excat same expression as him in the movie. They kept on telling me to be still, because with the injustice i was facing i could barley containl myself .I already told myself if he said CM. I would fly kick him and pick up the chair and smash him. IF it was NJP. I just have to lose this battle. Luckily my staff NCO, and PLT Commander liked my No surrender attitude and plea with him for BTL NJP.
Well, it's pretty fucked up that you got an OTH DC for your four years, and all because of your refusal to clean a crapper. Honestly, I don't mean no offense, but sometimes, it may be ultimately to your advantage to pick and choose certain battles; that is stand up for the ones that you know you can win, and suck up, submit, and suffer the indignity for the ones you can't, but know that you will live to fight another day. I too remember having to clean crappers, but it wasn't anything racial. Everyone in the company took a turn at it, and it was assigned by PLT barracks detail rotation. So actually, in four years, I maybe had to clean a crapper twice? The other details included policing the grounds, buffing the floors, etc. All a part of what made the place look respectable. On the other issue of the BC's options; I hate to say this, but once you got physical and hit your senior NCO (we're talking SSG, SFC, or MSG am I right?), that leave little wiggle room for a commander concerned about good order and discipline in the ranks. In effect, he is forced to do something otherwise, anyone else could do the same and claim unequal treatment if you had previously gotten off while they didn't. So by assualting your NCO, your fate was sealed by the political aspect of it. Again, this is all water under the bridge, but if I had been in that situation, I would have went and complained to the post IG. That way, it would have at least been on record that I was being harassed by the NCO's and that the harassment was racially based. If anything the military is loathe to have any racial incidents and they seem to bend over backwards to ensure that, at least publicly, the military remains racially neutral. At any rate, I wish you (and your "non Asian" missus) the best in all your future endeavors. I applaud your courage in standing up for what you believed in, at such great personal cost; I don't think I could have been so brave.
Well I know cleaning a shitter is normal. But, not someone private toilet and right after they took a dump. No, I didn't get a OTH. I was just saying if I got Court- martial it would have been automatic OTH, than i might as well have gotten the BCD. With the picking my battle things you're right. I got a lot smarter after the incident. I read the Book of five rings, and Sun Tzu Art of War. As, you know anytime after you get busted down. You're gonna be automatically picked for all the $hit detail. Anytime they would pick me I would just act , and move real slow hahahah brings back memories. On Police Calling the base, I would just jump into a bush and take nap. One time they sent me to Supplies to do some maunual labors for them in the rain. It involve moving 80lbs bags of cement. I would poke holes in all them so that cement was pouring all over the place. After that incident they never wanted to see me again. With the talking to the IG they would shoot you down any chance they got. I tried on mutiple occassion to get a redress on a officer but they deney me. It 's because he gave me an attitude and istarted gaffing him off. He told me to go stand in the sun. So I told him I was gonna report this to the IG as hazing. He was scared $%&tless. You see I have a bad habit of drawing alot of attention from staff Nco, and officers. It's because everyday when i would check in to restriction i wouldn't properly greet OOD,SNCOD. Also, when they ask me how my day was I'll just be truthful and tell them it sucked. I mean how you gonna have a good day when you're on restriction. hhahah Good Times.....

I remember some guys that I grew up with back on the block; we all enlisted at around the same time. Most of us did OK, but a few never even made it through basic. One guy went into the navy, and after about six weeks at Great Lakes, he was walking around the neighborhood, and people were like, "Yo, man, didin't you join the Navy?" He went on a rambling tirade of things that he didn't like about the Navy, mostly of them telling him what to do, and waking him up too early in the morning. At any rate, he wound up getting let go, something about his personality not being conducive to military service. -what? At any rate, back to the discussion about your non-Asian relations; I too had dated many non-Asians, with my first wife being Latina also, but finally settled with a Shanghai gal. Honestly, it isn't what you marry that's important, but who you marry that is the key to the relationship. In that regard, it's really rather color blind.
