we got our internship by an dutch/australian 'company ' who offers interships to students. They offer studies and internships in China (especially shanghai and beijing )and Australia ( sydney).

they have a spokeperson in the Netherlands and one in Australia. Although you have to pay a sum of money, it is worth it. (We tried to find an internship by ourselves but that was quite impossible) They will look for an internship and apartment for you ( the rent has to be paid by yourselve) and if you need any help, there is also a spokeperson in Shanghai.
