yup i did but i didn't do it from xda-developers. i just followed the youtube direction which was more useful cause you can actually see the exact steps instead of reading and skipping things by accident.

and for the apps here's some more apps that i have:

2 player reactor, gunbros, manga watcher, cnn, pulse, parcels, mobo player, jenga sketchbook express, beejive (there's a bug with landscape keyboard hope they would fix soon using meebo im as 2nd option) dropbox, poweramp, duck hunt, nycmate, and sudoku free.

for the video you should just go to youtube.com and type in asus transformer root should be the first video by ayaman. don't want to post a link that lead to another forum. don't want to get in trouble.

  5. Bump.

I am extremely satisfied with my Transformer. Easily one of the best purchases I've made.

My tablet has become my handy sidekick, as I use it as a quick programming concepts reference, quick web browsing, my companion in the shitter, video on the go, magazines on the go, reading on the go, designing on the go.

I didn't realize it would have that many uses AFTER I purchased it. Extremely happy.

What about other tablet owners? (not Android in specific) What are your thoughts on your tablets?

Have anyone tested the Samsung Galaxy 10.1? The demo I tested at a local mall seems to be laggy when switching from page to page on the home/menu..

Have used an Ipad, Andorid Tablet, Windows Tablet and currently on the Playbook.
Let's say I think tablets are still getting themselves realigned and separated from the whole iPad comparison.

  8. Bet you $10 bucks it's still on Android 3.0.1.

    Android 3.1 fixes it.

probably.. didn't look at the firmware when playing with it at the mall. Didn't even know the pricing on the unit until yesterday.. I guess I need to find a device that has 3.1 and see if it's the same or is it the custom UI from the manufacture.

  11. They're kind of in different classes... And they have different architecture... But a Chromebook is nice if you don't mind your pr0n on public clouds

Thnks for the tip, mine TF had lots of dead pixels, i brought it back to the store and had to wait more than a week. might root it this week, i've read somewhere that you can use ps3 and xbox360 controllers through usb (so i need a dock a.s.a.p.!)

It can be upgraded. I personally prefer the Eee Pad for the outputs/connection ports. But the Galaxy 10.1 looks nice, slimmer than most of the Android Tablet and an awesome screen. Cost: Eee Pad > Galaxy 10.1

  18. performance n features which have more?

well with the eee pad there's an app and a program for your computer for remote control from your tablet and also provides asus web storage unlimited space

performance is the same in terms of spec.. i don't know about features. Speaker, the Transformer is louder than the Galaxy when I tested it in store. Screen, Samsung wins. Ports, Transformer wins. Size and weight, Samsung wins.
