do i look like a sucker to u lol just sell it on ebay or like some1 at skool...an ACER is not worth having...dont waste more money on crap...get rid of it i doubt suijei has the time to go thru all that stuff and the extra money involved
i hate vista with a passion.. personally im with xp, but my dad bought vista for himself, now i have to take care of that piece of crap too <_<
did you get the accidental coverage from them? if you did i'd do an "accidentaly" power cord trip and piledriver the laptop to oblivion and then claim that you tripped the power cord and the laptop did a face plant on the floor if your really unhappy with it and used a credit card to buy it...i'd call the cc company and say that you want to dispute the charge, siting that you have a piece of inoperable equipment, then have the credit card company do the work with you to get you a refund on the laptop @dann....vista sucks especially if you don't ahve enough ram on the system...it runs like a snail or molasses on a cold cold winter nite. i'd personally try to get xp for all the computers that i can get for as long as possible...or until micro$oft fixes their flaws in the vista OS
well update on my laptop situation.... ^_^ i bashed the sales rep and technicians at Circuit City...verbally of course. The XP screen that they saw is part of Acer's erecovery, so basically it's standard before Vista automatically installs itself, but i think the sales rep is still confused Got my exchange, I'm actually on my Acer at the moment. My first experience with Acer and Vista...so we'll see how it is. XP got bad ratings when it first came out too, right? I ought to give it a chance. Although I must say...I don't like widescreens. so far, I'm working with a compaq, acer, and some dells! I shall compare and contrast lol Also...Vista does seem to be laggy...and this is a new pc mind you, highest ram out of all my pcs actually, but laggiest (it's a 512...and yes I'm ancient if i have pcs with lower ram then that. ^_^) I'll probably be looking to upgrade
^dude get at least 1gb of ram or vista is like incapable or really really laggy... a $300+ computer needs a $200 warranty, i definitely don't think so and it's definitely not worth it, just replace the harddrive or sell it and get a new computer...
vista is still new and there any many many bugs in there... those update versions are so many where u need to frequently update it... I would really stay to my current XP os still vista really got to maintain its stability...
