I dont have any anti virus or special firewall..yet my PC is 100% healthy..i rock, and you can too -rockon

maybe ur modem has built in firewall or your using the windows one

 

i find that norton is pretty good better mcfee i would use zonealarm 2nd rate if he doesn't want to use norton

 

Kaspersky is the best AV

One time, my comp got infected with a trojan that symmantec and adaware couldn't get rid of. So I got spysweeper off a torrent site and it got rid of the trojan for me. This is probably a really silly question but i must know this... are the antivirus programs on torrent sites reliable and trojan free?

 

I am not as brave as Nirvana , I use AVG and PCcillin. I never windows firewall.
