Anybody downloading Windows 8 Beta today?

I run on Vbox. wasnt that smooth. still lag even i allocated 3gb of ram to it.
i would say it works great for touch screen and not for keyboard and mouse...

 

So does it run well with VMWare? And which VMWare product are you using?

 

worked with virtualbox but ui sucks ass and virtualbox wont full screen (widescreen) cant get into safe mode to enable 3d for aero anyone know how?

 

Runs quite smoothly on Microsoft Hyper-V (from within Windows Server 2008). I still need to get used to the OS though

 

dont really like the layout of the beta.

really made for a touch environment.

 

Running it on my late 2011 13"MacbookPro with Parallels next to OSX Lion. Installation and most of the Driver aren't any issues.
Runs smooth, but don't like the Layout, yet. I think I will need to give it some time ...

 

I gave up on Win8 a week ago.

 

i dont think i like windows 8 as much as my windows 7 lol. And i believe the beta came out a while ago?

 

i am a noobie at computer software.

A buddy clean installed it, but then it crashed on him so he decided to wipe out the HDD and then reinstall 7. But everytime he installs 7, all the files copy, but then it would say win 8 files are still there and can't continue installation even though he already formatted the HDD lol

 

Tell him to nuke the drive with software like Killdisk.
