i only went there once for a Kelly Chen concert. lol!! anyways..i stayed at MGM. at night i thought it was pretty scary looking at the window. not because it was high but your reflection. it made you look like a ghost. like what fearless said, going to vegas and not gambling isnt fun. all i did was go to the M&M factory and the Coke factory. i also say the water show and the volcano show which was pretty cool. plus the buffet at belagio was pretty good. the bad thing is the waiting in line. had to wait an hour and a half to get a seat. i went to 5 of the casinos and got kicked out of 3 of them since i was only 17. lol!!
how much r u spending for the air fare and hotel stay? the last time i went i got a package from expidea and it was for like 350. 3 nights 4 days round trip air fare and stayed at the mandalay bay. that hotel was the best i've sayed in, in vegas. rooms are big, has a 42in plasma mounted to the wall, a walk in shower and a tub, a 20in lcd in the bathroom. and they also have an outdoor swimming pool area. its kinda like a beach. has sand and the water area has a generic device that makes waves. a lot of ppl go there too. about eating buffets i would recomend going to the mandalay bay one and the one at paris. paris has REALLY good desert. shopping, yea ceaser's palace has nice shops. they also have a m&m factory and a coca cola. i didn't shop much there. (gambled a lot) i would suggest walking during the day cause there is a lot of traffic on the strip. u could take a taxi or bus at nite. belagio has a nice free show going on at nite. its water dance thing. if u do take a taxi to the hotel from the airport, get a booklet from the taxi. it has a lot of info on vegas shows and things to do. TI also has a good show going on i think like at 8pm and 10 i think. but get there eairly as a lot of ppl watches it. but a slight gush of wind like 5mph will cancel the show.
you can try the wynn hotel.. it's pretty ok i guess.. all i do in vegas is drink and gamble.. that's what most ppl do there anyway heh.. but i have some friends that live there, so i don't need to pay for hotel kkeeke
Find a package deal, where u can get meals, flights and hotel room all in one. Last time i was planning a trip found a package deal for the monte carlo for about 450 for 4 nights 5 days and it included one meal a day. the buffets are the best in vegas: make sure to try the bellagio one, wynn and the aladdin. I wasn't too fond of the rio buffet the last time i went....it was so-so. I've stayed at the monte carlo and the flamingo, rooms are ok, but i've heard that the Venitian has all suite rooms and that they are very nice. The wynn is one of the new hotels and they all have plasma's in the rooms. if you go maybe 20-30 mins from the strip u can go to beltz, which is an outlet mall, if not their is an outlet mall around the sahara hotel.
we stayed at excalibur; it was alright ... hardly spend anytime in the room. so i wldn't know. we spent 9 days there, but i believe when we counted the number of hours we slept is about 40hours/person for that 9 days duration. but they do have heated swimming pool; so it was pretty nice during the end of summer, early fall season. eat: if i'm not mistaken, the buffet in Paris Paris; they have so much varieties. mandalay bay (again, if memory serves me right) have snow crab legs. it was well worth it. shows: Definitely the "O". it's damn pricey but it was really worth it. if it's free that you want, you should definitely go to Treasure Island @700pm i believe.
i agree with the treasure island though, you should see the show that goes on every night there, its cool. and by paris paris do you mean 'circus circus'?
wow lots of recommendations. i have to write them down and talk it over with my friends. does Treasure Island have a nice swimming pool for lounging around and stuff? and does Luxor's hotel have a nice swimming pool too? or which hotel is nicest and affordable? Thanks for your help.
I dont even know if treasure Island and Luxor have pools... if they do i never got around to checking them out... there was too much other stuff to do. I did see the pool at the MGM grand though... it was pretty awesome, they have a great outdoor setup as for affordability, you'd have to do some research into different hotel rates and see whats the best deal u can get... just use google or something
