What if they are not even considered even once in that persons life?
would it really be considered that they are written in the hearts of all men?
especially those laws that are about God, many cultures have the idea that there are more than one god so would you really consider that they have written in their hearts the command that you should have no other god except the Lord? its not whether they act upon their inclination of right or wrong its just that they dont even think its wrong in the first place.

Now now, another irrefutable "truth" according to Christianity. How can you be certain, or even prove, that the commandments are actually there, written on the heart of all men (or something), when they do not act upon it? It's just like I can say "everyone secretly believes my divine salt shaker, just that they don't consciously realize it nor practice the proper worship", does that fly?

The commandments are incorporated into law because most laws are made by the anglo-saxons and other races who are faithfuls of the religion (Christianity, Roman Catholics, whatever) and were very progressive in "spreading the good news" via colonization which inflicts THEIR laws and THEIR religion and THEIR moral rules upon other cultures.

  3. hiake makes a good point masterg..

just like today's laws, in the past people must have a system to govern the population, to keep justice and reduce chaos.

the only difference is, in today's society, our laws did originate from religion, but leaning towards science a bit.

but in the past, due to the fact that religion is the primary source of explanation to anything and everything, it would be logical to see that governing groups may have used the influence of religion to keep order in the population.

and that brings to my point, being, it is very probable that commandments were "laws" implanted into a population, which acts like today's laws.

for all we know, those commandments may have been one of the first judicial system to mankind..

so the point being, it is impossible not to consider that possibility, unless you have actual evidence that the laws were spoken by God himself, which leads to having to prove that God himself exists.

theres the loop hole.. if you can show proper evidence to support your claim, we (or rather i, as i cant speak for all), will gladly believe it as well.

the 10 commandments. God made those laws but no one could ever fulfill these commandments. Thats why Jesus was sent to earth, to fulfill these commandments for us.

before Jesus the people would sacrifice for their sins. animals for example. The sins were not completely forgiven. Because these sacrifice were not enough. Jesus came and sacrificed himself, so that the sins were truly cleanse. He washed way the sins.

okay enough of that. I'm not even a christian.

So god sent his son to die for the sins of the people.
    It makes no sense.
