I agree that we don't always act the best, but I'm still proud to be Chinese. One problem we will face soon is the snobbery and inability of mainland China's next generation. All of them have 6 people to spoil them (grandparents - both sides + parents). Over time, they won't know how to do any manual labor and develop a drastic only-child persona. Then things will just go downhill... At least we'll win the olympics in 2008?
We better win a good amount in the olympics, what would the chinese pride be? If we couldn't win on our own turf?
It's satisfying to know that China can take the call to host an Olympics. Just being able to host is hard, all the preparation China has been putting in is just tremendous. China is an ever-growing country, and the Olympics further will help China's economy when it comes. Look back into the past, and think would China be able do to something like-this say.. 20 years ago?? Winning is always great, but at the end of the Olympics, all Chinese will feel like winners as they can feel proud that they hosted sports most greatest competition
I am very pround to be a CHINESE but my friends said i am a little westernize because i would prefer listen to english songs than chinese songs. Chinese songs is like same type, sentimental, romance. Can't really find a good band that play other type of music. Personal preference is METAL.
i'm proud to be a chinese, coz if races were to fight, we have an advantage over the others in numbers...not promoting fights though
I would like to slightly alter the question of this thread. Are you proud of the Chinese government? (Excluding Taiwan) Just curious on how many people would say yes or no.
we chinese are the nuts and bolts of every nation that we inhibit....we just make the culture richer....Yup.....proud to be a chinese...
