i thought id try painting haha... as i dont usually like painting because it ruins a lot of work and is messy. but for my art exam this yr.. i thought id take a risk xD hope you like my art... feel free to critise..it'll help me improve

is he going for the brake lights in pic 1? it doesn't look like it. but yet i can't figure what will the red things on the road will be. if it's suppose to be brake lights, shldn't the cars' lights be a little obvious/brighter?
he is likely to be gg for the brake lights but perhaps you are right abt the difference in brightness.. im not sure. The first drawing only has the reflections of the lights on the road, no cars or buildings. Was it on purpose? Your drawings tend to attempt to be realistic but not quite there... i suggest if you wanna focus on reflections, you might wanna pay closer attention to details. perhaps experiment with really close up reflections (eg a boat or a leaf in a puddle) and really far reflections (eg cityscape at the waterfront). Pick up the differences in the way things are reflected.. Just some comments.. im not expert so ignore them if not relevant.. haha
Why's the 3rd painting's image sized so small? o.o That's pretty neat/nifty using a city for the subject, lots of selective detailing. Nice work.
oh haha its small cos it took that one with my mobile phone =/ all my work is in school so i cant really get it back till september btw that was good advice xiaojia =)
