I like the older Atv series but I grew up with both, it just happens TVB have the actors but if there was ever a better channel, I would watch that instead, TVB have gotten to full of themselves. At best they have couple of good ones each year, problem is they same old people in the top jobs with same old boring ideas 10-20 years, doesn't cut these days, time for fresh blood, like script writers, tvb so needs them.
I've only watched one or two ATV series. They weren't bad.TVB isn't that bad either, but sometimes their series are boring. I'm sure that is the case with ATV, too.
ATV IS better during the 1980s' And I love ATV stories especially ancient starring Donnie Yen, Amy Chan sau man, etc Yes Later on TVB comes up with condor heroes, The Bund etc and continue from there. Recently most of TVB series are shits I prefer China & Korean series now cos like Sheren Tang says The sets are more real and with feels. U see Hundreds of character running around in a war epic That all I have to say.
both stations are pretty terrible now, it is not like how back then actors are talented and can play many roles, these days it just alot of cg and actors only need to use one or two lines. Back in the days the series/movies were worth watching and enjoyed. Now all these actors/actress these days are just for looks not much acting skills required
